Students at the University of Johannesburg's School of Tourism and Hospitality (STH) received a donation of a range of hospitality cleaning equipment from Numatic International. The mopping units and housekeeping and laundry trolleys, valued at R35 000, allow students to train using industry appropriate equipment.

Professor Daneel van Lill, director of STH, says: "Not only are we honoured to be aligned with a top international company, but also grateful for the generous sponsorship from Numatic. Their donation is adding to the development of the students and the hospitality industry."

Janine Lotz, sales manager for Numatic, adds: "We are excited to participate in this initiative and eager to see students from STH succeed. We hope Numatic's quality products will give these aspiring professionals a leg up in this booming industry."

Numatic announced its partnership with 3M earlier this week, which sees the distribution of both companies' specialist and complementary products via Numatic's wide range of distributors.

The joint venture of the two international product experts is designed to ensure that customers have ongoing access to a range of expert floor care equipment and advice.

Lotz explains: "The partnership with 3M will allow us to grow together, and provides a platform for us to build on our existing infrastructure. Therefore, this initiative will unlock many opportunities for both parties concerned."

"We look forward to a promising future with 3M and are honoured to be associated with them. I believe that together our brands and standards will remain supreme and take our partnership to new highs."
