Three popular local radio DJ's joined four Miller Genuine Draft competition winners on a trip to the US to attend the 25th Miami Winter Music Conference (WMC) in March. The DJ's included Fresh, Euphonik and Milkshake. The competition winners were Gideon Malherbe, Themba Mahlaba, Carri-Ann Botha and Bobby Carr.

The conference consisted of a variety of workshops, events and showcases. Each DJ was invited to perform a set at one of three Miller Talent Showcase events attended by consumers, media and invited VIPs from the music industry.

The four local Miller fans attended a string of parties in top clubs in Miami South Beach, including a VIP Pool Party, a Secret Location Party and the Miller Talent Showcase at the Tikki Beach Sunset Party.

"I really enjoyed meeting new people and making friends and the Miller parties were amazing especially the White Party at Tikki Beach. The whole trip was awesome," says local Miller fan Themba Mahlaba from Johannesburg.

The winners also got to see Louie Vega play at the Heathrow Lounge and met DJ Edward Allen from Panama. "He was hot, hot, hot! It was amazing to meet him," says Ramona Michael, assistant brand manager of Miller Genuine Draft.

"The entire experience was incredible, from meeting the global winners and talent to partying until the early hours of the morning. The Miller parties were incredible and we were blessed with the opportunity to see Louie Vega play live. The whole trip was life changing," adds Michael.
