Bosman's Restaurant at the Grande Roche Hotel in Paarl celebrates summer with the first of its four Gourmet Evenings for 2010 on Saturday March 13th.

To be hosted by winemaker John Loubser from Steenberg Vineyards in Tokai, guests will be served canaps on arrival, a five-course meal with wines from featured estates, coffee and petit fours.

Bosman's executive chef Roland Gorgosilich recently returned from Portugal after participating in a culinary festival on the Algarve.

Bosman's has recently been honoured with an award by Wine Spectator for having one of the most outstanding restaurant winelists in the world. It was compiled by the Grande Roche sommelier Tobias Brauweiler, one of only a handful of qualified wine sommeliers in South Africa.

The price for the Bosman's Gourmet Experience is R690 per person while a special one-night package at the Grande Roche Hotel inclusive of the gourmet evening, accommodation and a full English breakfast the next day is R1 800 per person sharing.

The Grande Roche Hotel is managed & operated by the Mantis Group, one of South Africa's foremost hospitality groups (www.mantiscollection.com).
